1. Introduction

Hey, everyone! Thanks for supporting Crash. The band has just finished playing a bunch of shows including big nights at Tuckaway Tavern and Illinois State University. If any of you have questions about show times or directions, please e-mail me at AboutCrash@aol.com.
Thanks,

2. Crash Tour Update for the Past Few Weeks

Crash recently had several big shows including Ju Ju's near ISU in Bloomington, Tuckaway Tavern in Joliet, and Dreams in Lockport. They played at Dreams on Saturday, September 23rd. Some of you may remember that Dreams is where they played their very first show about six months ago. They have come a long way since then! Their second appearance at Tuckaway was on Thursday, September 14th. The Tuckaway set list went as follows....

Ants Rhyme And Reason True Reflections
What Would You Say? So Much To Say Busted Stuff
One Sweet World Stay Warehouse
Jimi Thing Lie In Our Graves Best Of What’s Around
Crash Into Me (Dixie Chicken) Too Much Watchtower
Two Step Don't Drink The Water (Long Black Veil Intro) #41
Typical Situation Dancing Nancies Tripping Billies
Devil Went Down To Georgia Ill Back You Up

3. Crash to Play Three Shows This Weekend

Crash has a big weekend ahead of them, playing three shows in a row. On Thursday, October 5th, Crash will make their second appearance at Bourbon Street. Many of you may remember their very successful set there back in August! Crash is scheduled to take the stage at 10pm, after opening act Big Daddy Roaches. On Friday, October 6th, Crash was suppose to make their second appearance at Reel 'Em Inn in Plainfield but the unexpected cold whether has forced them to cancel that show. To wrap up the weekend, Crash will make their THIRD appearance at Tuckaway Tavern on Saturday, October 7th. They sure do love these guys out there. For locations and show times, please (click here) for a direct link to the Tour Dates section of AboutCrash.com. If you have any other questions or would like to be added to the mailing list, please e-mail the band at AboutCrash@aol.com. Thanks for coming out. We look forward to seeing you this weekend.

4. Crash Jams with New Sax Player

During the past few shows, Crash has been playing with a new sax player. John Born is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and currently attends Elmhurst College with Crash drummer Mike Teare. John plays Alto, Soprano, and Baritone Saxophones and adds great fills and excellent sounds to the Crash set. Look for John this weekend.

5. New Web Site Design is Now Up

As some of you may know, the new Web site design is now complete (special thanks to Mike Malloy and OEIdesign), and the Tour Dates page is now updated. We are still in the process of updating other areas including adding MP3s and Windows Media to the upcoming Audio/Video page of the Web site, so check back often for more changes to come—www.aboutcrash.com.
